I was referred to Honest1 by my brother. I am very impressed with the operation. The customer lounge is very friendly and unlike any lounge I’ve ever seen, other than an actual dealership. And finally, the pricing was fair and still much cheaper than the dealership.

I recently had my transmission replaced in my Volkswagen CC at Honest-1 Auto Care, and I was really impressed. As you know, German cars need special tools, and they had everything they needed to do the job right. After that, I had my battery replaced, and Andrew was great – really upfront about the pricing. I was happy to find out they even knocked the price down a bit because they finished the job ahead of schedule. All in all, I had a great experience. They really know what they're doing, especially with those German cars. I'll definitely be back!

Not a bad place to get serviced at. They got me and out of the door in no time. The people were pretty cool. They gave me a complimentary diagnosis on all the issues that were wrong with my car. When you give them your number they’ll send updates to your phone on vehicle status/inspection. More than likely will be my new go to place

Called ahead as they handle CarMax warranty repairs. Austin was friendly and personable. Accessed the issue quickly, got the claim entered and approved and repaired within 24 hours. Great experience. I also had a previous experience with them after a hurricane where I had ran over something evacuating and I had a rattle. Stopped in on a whim and told them what happened. Within ten minutes they told me it was something that had knocked loose the muffler and it was fixed. Said it was quick and there would be no charge. That’s how you win customers for life. I tipped the mechanic $20 and went about my day.

Honest 1 Auto Care in Deltona is an awesome auto care center. They have helped me numerous times and their prices are the lowest in the area. The waiting room is user-friendly with comfortable places to sit and free snacks. I will always use them for my auto needs.

They soldered 2 parts of car battery together. The amount of trouble that caused me with the car, along with the safety hazards it posed (car turning off on the highway, sparking due to bad connection) was enough for me to never go here again. They also charged me over 5k in repairs that, after later review, could have been done for much much cheaper at other mechanics in the area. To be fair to them, the car WAS a lemon, but for example, they charged over 400-500 dollars to purchase and replace 4 spark plugs. I had a brand new set of 4 spark plugs for the car, and offered it to them in order to save time/money. They refused and insisted it was for liability reasons that they purchase new ones. It sounds understandable, however with this being the first mechanic I had ever been to, I trusted them, not understanding that replacing spark plugs would typically cost you 100-150 dollars. They claimed that they did an alignment and balanced the wheels (again, most likely overcharged for this). a few months later, with near brand new tires at the time, my tire blew out. They had done an awful alignment job, and the car had a considerably negative camber on the back right wheel. I went through 2 tires before a mechanic had finally informed me that the previous mechanic I had taken it to - Honest1 Auto Care in Deltona - was the cause. If you do not know much about cars, they will take advantage of that. They will also take shortcuts to get a job done easier and quicker for them (it will not be easier and quicker for you though). They probably provide satisfactory work for those who are regulars/understand cars well, but you should probably call every single other mechanic in a 50 mile radius for quotes before taking your car into this place.

I recently had work completed with Honest 1 after several weeks a of attempting to have CarMax repair complete it through its warranty (4 visits over a 6 week span). Within an hour Honest 1 mechanics had it diagnosed and all necessary work quoted and pre-approved through my warranty company. Once parts were ordered and received. The work was completed timely and updates were given throughout the process. Being a one car family, time is critical and very costly. The attentiveness and professionalism of everyone at Honest 1 is very much appreciated. Thank you for ensuring I’m back on the road again safely!
