My first time there. I was very impressed. Spacious waiting room with very nice amenities. Best of all, they completed the list I asked to be done with no high pressure additional sales pitch for extra items. Andrew did mention that my wiper blades were worn and might need replacement soon and he was absolutely correct. They were on my list to replace but I forgot to mention it because I left my written list at home and the wipers slipped my mind. I was very glad they were paying attention. Everything they did was reasonably priced and I was very pleased with the results.

Another great service! I love the pictures and details of my service visit they emailed to me. Friendly, fast and decent prices too! Update Feb 2026 They went from excellent to terrible in the last year. Jen gets 10 stars over and over!!!! Others who work there… BE AWARE. Personally, a clean, comfortable lobby is not worth poor service. We’ve been loyal customers for over a decade. When you find a great mechanic, you stick with them until the service model changes for the worse. Recently, we were asked to pay an hourly diagnostic fee just to confirm an emissions code we already had on another vehicle, and then again for a printout, despite advertised free scan with printout coupons. That was our first red flag. We later returned for brake service under a “free pads for life” promotion we had in writing. They tried multiple tactics to get out of their own signed agreement. After multiple calls, no one would provide pricing without an “appointment”, and once there, the agreement still wasn’t honored until Jen stepped in. Others wanted to charge full price, then discounted a little, then a little more. She is truly the heart of this place. She assisted in reading the document and cut the BS. Without her, we would have walked. Still paid more than I should have, especially compared to others. We were still trying to give our favorite shop the benefit of the doubt. Despite scheduling a shuttle in advance, communication was poor, delays were not communicated, and we were told to “come pick it up” after being shuttled home. Once again, Jen saved the day by personally picking us up after her work hours due to others lack of service and communication. The email notifications you once received explaining everything with pictures is now not customer friendly for those that don’t understand automotive terms, good luck. This shop used to treat customers like family. Now it feels driven by greed, poor communication, and upselling. We recommend servicing your vehicle elsewhere but absolutely stop by and give Jen some appreciation. She deserves it 💯

I’ve used Honest1 on Howland in Deltona for the last year or so, and continue to be very happy with the service there. This latest go around was a doozy of repairs needed. Andrew T. was extremely helpful and explained what was needed and why with a sensativiry to the costs involved and my budget. I will say that the overall prices at Honest1 may be higher than other shops in the area I’ve used, but their customer service level is unmatched. The email diagnostic report with pictures is so helpful and reassuring that the repairs are actually needed or could maybe wait a bit. It’s so great not to feel pressured into a repair and have a honest conversation about actual needs.

The new digital inspection system you mentioned was adpoted to give our customers more information about their cars. During every visit, it provides all recalls issued, the OEM maintenance recommendations and then pictures and videos of our inspection. It is a permanent record you can keep so for issues that are not urgent, like an small leak, you can see if it is getting worse over time. We really appreciate you supporting us and thank you again. This was my fourth or fifth time back. I don't go anywhere else anymore. Everything I came in for was done correctly using the proper products for my car. Everything they did was reasonably priced and priced correctly. I was very pleased with the results. When I asked questions about future service I wanted done, I received a written estimate and Andrew answered any questions I had. Each time I leave here, I always feel better than when I arrived. That's saying something when I'm talking about an auto repair and maintenance store.

First, thank you for visiting with us. We know going to a new place, especially an auto care center, can be a trying occurrence. As you pointed out, our job is to inspect our customer's autos and provide guidance on how to keep the car running well. We show, explain but never do any high pressure selling. That is just not us.
