About 2-4 months ago I left a very good review for Honest 1 and I still believe they are a good group and I will still recommend them BUT....I thought it was important to share my experience. Initially when I took my Mercedes Benz to them, Andrew (whom was great throughout this entire process) was my "go to guy!" My car was stalling, I took it, they fixed it, I was happy, I left a great review, it was over... SO I THOUGHT.... About a week later, my car started stalling again. I took it back, they apologized, fixed it again, I picked it up, I was happy.... UNTIL it started stalling AGAIN! I took it back, they apologized, they fixed it, I was happy.... UNTIL it started stalling AGAIN! So! I took my car back to them a total of 4 times! THANK GOD! Honest 1 does offer a warranty on their work so it cost me nothing each time BUT my TIME was far spent! I'm a traveling nurse so not having my car was a very big deal! After taking my car there the 4th time, Andrew called me extremely apologetic and simply told me they could not fix my car, I would have to take it to the dealer. I thanked him for his honesty. He told me he would get with management about getting me a refund. Long story short, After an entire month of trying to get my money back, I ended up having to tell Andrew, Honest 1 would be hearing from my Attorney and that I would be going public with this matter! The day after sending that message, I heard from Andrew assuring me of a refund. The following week I did receive my total refund. I still recommend this place because I believe their a good group, just make sure to stay on top of them 😉
Tamara, We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding. During the first visit we replaced the mass airflow sensor which was reporting to be at fault. Following the repair it worked well but as we both know the problem came back. We ran quite a few tests on the other visits and we could not get a definitive solution to the problem. That was the call that Andrew made saying we apologize but could not find a single solution. We did not want to just replace parts hoping we got lucky. Not the way to run a shop. We offered to take the car to the dealership at our costs to get a second opinion but we understand you wanting to do that yourself. We did not repair your car and rightfully refunded your money.
