Always so friendly and helpful. Never a fan of having my car in the shop but when I have to, Honest 1 is the only place I’ll go.

I wanted to stop by to leave my honest review. I recently had some work done to my truck and my steering wheel ended up a bit misaligned to the left. I chose this place because it's very close to my home. I scheduled an alignment and really needed a toe alignment for my wheels. Upon arrival they tried to explain to me that my upper ball joints were bad so I was not going to be able to align my caster or camber. I explained I only really needed a toe since the wheels were not straight. I had gotten a wheel alignment at tire kingdom a few months prior and they did a good Job. I knew I needed to do a zero point calibration since the vehicle was registering a mis alignment but I wanted to get the toe alignment first. Long story short they attempted to align it. I use the word attempt because my vehicle is still not toe aligned. I explain. They charge me for a full alignment when other shops charge less and exclusively for toe alignments if that's what the customer is seeking for. My vehicle steering is not mis aligned to the left anymore but now is mis aligned to the right after going to this place. Also if they were a knowledgeable place for wheel alignment they would have discovered that the ball joints on top were not worn or broken but that my vehicle has complete aftermarket custom upper control arms with fully adjustable ball joints to customize and to get a more flexible alignment for lifted vehicles. I am not sure if they have understanding of other areas of vehicle mechanics however I can tell based on my experience that wheel alignment is not a strong subject. If you are looking for an honest and proper wheel alignment I will recommend finding a different ship. Now I am having to go to a different more knowledgeable ship to re do my wheel alignment on my custom lifted vehicle.

I would like to preface this review by stating that I am grateful for the courtesy of the staff and their ride service to and from the shop, however I am very discontent with the quality of auto service I received as well as the price. I went into the shop to diagnose a scraping sound which I later determined to be the compressor and left with a laundry list of issues - some of which critical, but I couldn't afford to get them done there. Not wanting to leave empty handed and paying their exorbitant diagnosis fees, I had their staff tend to some of the issues such as a single Valve cover gasket oil leak and some belt replacements which ended up costing well over $600. I first encountered issues with my power steering soon after I left the shop as I suspect the wrong type of power steering fluid was used. Not only that, but my engine began to misfire following the replacement of the valve cover gaskets, presumably due to the service tech getting oil on the ignition coil. I only recommend going to this shop if you are exceedingly desperate like I was. Otherwise, get a good mobile mechanic like I did immediately after this experience.

James, We appreciate you coming into our shop. We were able to diagnose the grinding noise you were having as the AC compressor which you did not want to replace. The diagnostic fee we charged was $89.95 which is very reasonable today. We did find your value cover gaskets leaking covering your engine/transmission/steering components with oil. We degreased those areas and installed new gaskets to stop the value covers from leaking. But we did not change your power steering fluid so any issue you were having is not due to the wrong fluid. Our invoice you received is very good at detailing out the work we did. All of our work is guaranteed for 3 years, not prorated, so if you ever have any issues just give us a call and we will take care of it. We wish you the very best.

Everyone that picked up the phone had amazing customer service and made sure my truck gets fixed with the extended warranty I had. When I called to make sure they use it they told me come in we will take care of your vehicle. I will always recommend this mechanic shop to everyone. Terry deserves a Christmas bonus. Plus this is the place where you take your vehicle at because they like to take care of you like life long customer not to take you for your money

Really glad that I chose Honest-1 Deltona when I did. My 10 year old Mercedes is starting to have a few problems after hitting 70,000 miles. The dreaded engine light is starting to get some exercise!
