Its been only about 48 hrs. since Honest-1 serviced our '98 Escort Wagon's A/C, so this review will be somewhat limited. Service was to have the fore-firewall hoses re-connected, the A/C dryer / accumulator replaced (with the one we provided) and the system cleaned-out internally and recharged. Came by for a prospect quote Tues. prior and got a 'ballpark' quote of around $270 nic taxes (with Honest-1 providing the Accumulator). For the present, the A/C IS cooling the air, not yet truly 'cold', ...anticipated a slight lesser cost in that we provided the Accumlator/dryer ($35) but the variance in final costs is within expectations around $285 w/ taxes. Were scheduled for 10 am Sat. and arrived per scheduling. called Noon to check on progress as had been told would take about 2 hrs., car has been JUST BROUGHT into the shop. Rec'd call that car was ready just about 2 pm. Was told could be picked up NLT 4 pm. same day. Wife was unexpected called in early to work O.T. Evening Swing Shift beginning at 5 pm. We picked-up vehicle 3:45 pm. She WAS able to use her repaired vehicle for commute. in the brutal Saturday heat (Upper 90's) Overall, a very positive experience... (allowing for unforeseeable circumstances). Staff professional and seemed genuinely concerned for the work done. Location is VERY convenient ~
